    With over 20 years expertise in print graphic design, along with a proficiency in content engineering (varying levels of skill & hands-on experience), I use tools for print and digital platforms to deliver results. I handle relationships with cross-functional content teams (developers, visual designers, and authors) to seek reusable ways to automate and publish content for apps & print publications. I provide process and production workflow solutions for managing content while ensuring brand identity.

      My 20+ years experience as graphic designer helps create user-center experiences with meticulous attention to detail in developing and producing print & digital content. I ensure brand alignment between program components on both platforms. I build prototypes in InDesign, construct InDesign XML templates, reformat XML source code; find out more, see Featured Work. I am also able to test & revise a document type definition (DTD) and use Adobe InDesign GREPS at a basic level.

      CONTENT ENGINEER
      I help author many processes and procedures for editorial teams, work with development teams discovering, assessing, delivering content workflows, and provide solutions for the management of digital assets. I implement reusable automated ways to publish digital content for application developers from print tools like Adobe InDesign. I am knowledgeable in extracting metadata from print for digital apps in development and capable of understanding complex technical project details to communicate them simply to non-technical audiences.

      Combining both skillsets:

      • Use XPath with InDesign Styles to create XML structured templates

      This COLLECTION of print and digital designs are projects I have worked on over the years. They include logos, brand identity, digital prototypes, templates in print, and technical docs. Also included are retouched images (in vector file format and in psd file), customized html & css source code and tagging of content in XML using XPath. Projects ranged from prototype to print ready and digital ready templates.
